Black River Technical College offers a 13-week Certificate of Proficiency Phlebotomy program. Students in this program learn how to draw blood samples, basic vascular anatomy and physiology, and blood physiology. Students will also learn skin puncture techniques, venipuncture, venous specimen collection and handling, and safety and sanitation procedures.
