The Central Arizona College Phlebotomy Program is offered at the Superstition Mountain Campus and/or the Signal Peak Campus.

The course consists of an 8-week classroom component plus an 8-week clinical component.

Students must complete 180 hours in the clinical program, including 100 successful venipunctures,  and 10 sucessful dermal punctures. They must also observe a blood gas with respiratory therapy.

In order to qualify for the course, students must have a high school diploma or GED and pass a reading test.  They must also get immunizations, a TB skin test, and complete a background check and drug screen.
