Phillips Community College’s Phlebotomy Program is approved by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS). This program consists of two semesters. Students complete 16 credit hours during the fall semester and 12 credit hours during the spring semester.

The required courses are: medical terminology, computer information systems, elementary algebra or higher, intro to anatomy and physiology, freshman English, phlebotomy procedures, special techniques, and phlebotomy skills.
