This phlebotomy training program consists of 15 hours of lecture and 45 hours of clinical experience in a student laboratory/hospital setting. You must have a high school diploma or GED, take a COMPASS placement test, and attend the mandatory information session to be eligible. The class can be completed in 5 weeks or less. To complete the program successfully, you must get a grade of 70% or higher, rotate through the clinical site as assigned, and complete 45 clinical hours with a minimum of 100 successful venipunctures.
