The Pima Medical Institute offers a 3-month Phlebotomy Technician Program that provides training in collecting blood by venipuncture and micro collection techniques. You will also learn how to collect and process other clinical specimens.

The program courses include: study skills, CPR and first aid, anatomy and physiology/medical terminology, introduction to laboratory and communication, phlebotomy, and an externship that fulfills the clinical component.
