Phlebotomy Training In Arizona

Certification Requirements

In order to practice phlebotomy in Arizona, you do not need to be certified. However, it is still recommended that you become certified or registered by a qualified organization to make your resume stand out. It is basically a way to validate to your potential employers that you have the necessary knowledge and skills to be a phlebotomist.

There is no state-level certification in Arizona, so national certification is recognized. There are several organizations that offer national certification exams. They should include both a written and clinical component. They usually have slightly different requirements, but your school usually will set you up with an organization and make sure you qualify.

Arizona has plenty of options when it comes to choosing a phlebotomy training program. Although it is not a requirement, it is a good idea to look for an accredited program because it ensures quality and trust.
